THY KINGDOM COME
GLOBAL PRAYER EVENT
30th May to 9th June
During the 10 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who participates will deepen their friendship with Jesus, bring others to know Jesus or know him better, and come to know that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer.
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
People around the world are invited by Archbishop Justin Welby to join the global wave of prayer and you can pledge to pray and see your light join those from Christians across the globe.
Following the effectiveness of the Thy Kingdom Come ‘Beacon’ event at the Cathedral last year, there will again be a large-scale event to which all are welcome.
This is at the Roman Catholic Church on the evening of Sunday 2nd June at 6pm. “Together for God’s Kingdom” will be a flexible and varied program, which people are welcome to attend some/all of, as they are able. You can find more details of local prayer events in churches in and around Truro below.
