THY KINGDOM COME
GLOBAL PRAYER EVENT

During the 10 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who participates will deepen their friendship with Jesus, bring others to know Jesus or know him better, and come to know that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer.

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.  What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

People around the world are invited by Archbishop Justin Welby to join the global wave of prayer and you can pledge to pray and see your light join those from Christians across the globe.

Following the effectiveness of the Thy Kingdom Come ‘Beacon’ event at the Cathedral last year, there will again be a large-scale event to which all are welcome.

This is at Truro Methodist Church on the afternoon and evening of Sunday 13th May. “Together for God’s Kingdom” will be a flexible and varied program, which people are welcome to attend some/all of, as they are able. You can find more details of local prayer events in churches in and around Truro below.

What's happening at All Saints during 'Thy Kingdom Come'?

On Thursday 10th, Saturday 12th, Thursday 17th and Saturday 19th at 11am we will meet at All Saints to walk/drive each prayer route shown below. We will stop at each place on the way and pray that the Kingdom of God is present and that his will be done, and for the particular place's life and prosperity. Please bring a packed lunch if you'd like if you'd like to share fellowship with one another when we finish. You can pick up a copy of the A3 map with each prayer walk marked from All Saints Church Highertown.

Churches Together in Truro

At All Saints we enjoy and celebrate being part of Churches Together in Truro. Churches Together is a great way for Christians throughout the city to work together to make a positive difference to the lives of people in our community.

It is an inter-denominational organisation, which means that Churches Together involves Christians from all walks of life, and from all traditions. Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists, Roman Catholics and many others from free church traditions pray and work together to make a difference.

These are some of the projects that Churches Together in Truro are actively involved in:
