Support the All Saints Calais Project

 The Current Situation in Calais

What's happening?

Since the closure of the camp nicknamed "The Jungle" refugees have been dispersed but are still in and around Calais and Dunkirk, desperately in need of help.

Interview with Revd. Jeremy Putnam regarding the situation in Calais

What are we doing?
In December 2017, we made a delivery to two organisations, Care 4 Calais and Mobile Refugee Support. These two organisations support refugees in Calais, Dunkirk and Brussels but are always finding small groups of refugees in many of the local towns and villages. We took over clothing such as trainers and warm winter coats, small tents, tarpaulins, sleeping bags, bags of toiletries, food to make up food parcels and high energy bars and dried fruit.

What is the situation on the ground?
The accommodation that the refugees have at this time of year is very sparse so most of them are living outdoors, wherever they can find shelter: under trees, or wherever they can be out of out of sight of the local police.
