The name Acts 435 is taken from the Bible; the book of Acts, chapter 4, verse 35 which describes how the early disciples of the risen Christ shared their possessions, and passed money to the apostles to give to anyone who had need. The video here shows you how it works:
HOW TO GET HELP?
If you are in need, you can apply directly to the church by contact us by phone, or by filling out the form below. You can also go via a local community group (in our case, Christians Against Poverty, Truro Foodbank, Threemilestone Primary School, Truro Learning Academy or Richard Lander School), an advocate verifies your request, your request is then posted anonymously on the Acts 435 website and donations are then made through the website.
HOW DO I DONATE?
Simply go to the Acts 435 website and either make a general donation or search for specific needs, for instance elderly people or those struggling with bills and debt. 100% of what you donate goes directly to those in need. If you GiftAid your donation, it helps towards the running costs of the charity. You can pay with your credit/debit card or via Paypal.
WHAT DONORS SAY
"Acts 435 was a great way to use the winter fuel allowance that I didn't need. By giving it away, I was able to help a disabled lady get a wardrobe, and provide a cooker for a single mother. This is the great joy of ACTS 435 giving – you know exactly what your donation achieved, it is personal and real."
